Aquarium installation and servicing
Installation
Here at Reeflections we have had the pleasure of setting up many amazing aquarium installations over the last few years, everything from tiny nano reef tanks to mega systems of thousands of litres.
We take pride in our well earned reputation for making the journey from concept to finished display a stress free and fulfilling experience. We never take the path of telling the client what they are going to have, rather we ask the client what they want to see as the finished feature from their imagination and turn that into reality in their living space.
This is always the first step, getting an understanding of what the client wants, gathering information and using that information for the design. There are always many choices, and it can be quite often confusing at first glance. At Reeflections we believe it is our role to talk the client through each aspect of their dream aquarium step by step, making recommendations and enhancements as we go. We work hand in hand with one of the best aquarium manufacturers in Melbourne, who has been in the industry for many years. He has in the past been commissioned by Reeflections to build everything from tiny nano style aquariums to huge systems for public aquariums and private residences around Victoria.
We are happy to coordinate our work with the clients own design team and cabinetmakers, especially for new homes, where the current trend is for the 'in wall' style aquarium, with all the equipment neatly hidden away. Alternatively, we are always happy to have our own recommended cabinetmakers work with the client to design the look of the room around the aquarium feature.
There will always be many choices when it comes to equipment on the aquarium. Lighting, pumps, cooling, heating... the list goes on. Of course we at Reeflections have our preferred tried and tested models and manufacturers for most equipment, usually industry leaders in their field. However, as part of our step by step process, we always give a thorough explanation of what each piece of equipment is for, and provide a range of different models giving the pros and cons of each brand. The client can then make an informed decision armed with the knowledge of quality, pricing and effectiveness.
Servicing
Aquarium servicing is a fast growing part of the hobby, as marine aquaria become more and more popular in both homes and business. Everybody wants that amazing relaxing reef aquarium in their home or office, but not everybody has the knowledge, time or inclination to get into all the behind the scenes stuff that makes it happen. Although maintaining a marine aquarium is not hard it does, like anything else in life, involve a learning curve of knowledge to achieve the best results. We at Reeflections have had over 20 years head start on this learning curve on our own systems, as well as the many customer scenarios that we have been faced with and overcome over the many years of running a retail store.
Why not let us use this vast experience to make your viewing pleasure even more relaxing? We offer the client the full range of options, whether it be just the occasional check up for more hands on clients, holiday visits for peace of mind when you're hours away, or regular scheduled aquarium maintenance. We have many regular maintenance clients, particularly for those larger reef displays in private residences, where stability is of the essence when there are thousands of dollars worth of reef life to look after.
Some of our systems have been maintained successfully for many years and our clients will vouch for our long term after sales customer service. We always keep clients aware of new innovations in the hobby, like LED lighting for instance, and we are always on hand with suggestions on how systems can be improved as time goes by.
Feel free to contact us for more information on aquarium servicing and find out what we can do to make your aquarium the best it can be.
Please check out our members tanks page for testimonials and feedback from some of our previous clients who have been kind enough to allow us to use images from their private homes.
